We believe that being a good steward of the land gives our ranch family the best opportunity to grow premium beef and have land that is here for generations to come.
Our cattle herd is managed using no growth hormones/accelerants or antibiotic feed.
Cattle are fed organic grass sources and when ready, custom grain rations fed on the ranch and in partnership with our local cattle feeding partners.
Using programs like Integrity Beef and Texas Beef Quality Assurance, we follow proven techniques to ensure the beef product that you and your family consume are safe, healthy and of the best quality. Our ranch management is Texas Beef Quality Assurance certified and follows the herd health protocols of the Integrity Beef Program.
The ranch is managed using sustainable-regenerative ranching and stockmanship. We believe in using many of the proven ranching techniques of the past and combining them with modern ranching practices that can produce the best results for the environment, crop and herd yield for the ranch. Having good grass production and native areas of the ranch helps us support our cattle herds, native wildlife and the quality of the land.
Using rotational grazing, modern organic weed control and grass crop management, we are able to support our herd with grass resources that are grown on the ranch with our hay management program. Our ranch is divided into several pastures that allows us to rotate cattle based on grass management and the condition of the herd. Daily eyes-on observation is made to ensure that cattle health is at its best and the ranch resources are being used with sustainable practices. We also provide clean water and access to minerals, vitamins for our herd health.
Using traditional stockmanship practices our ranching team works cattle on a daily basis to manage their health and comfort. We use horseback practices to check herds and doctor cattle when needed. Cattle stay calm and relaxed while working the herd and are also dog broke to be gathered and moved with our stock dogs during ranch work.
